'PEACHES' BY EDDIE MITSOU

Our friend and star of our 4th issue shot by Purienne released a new book about well being. I dropped her a few questions and here she has to say about her new book called ‘‘Peaches’’

Where are you right now?

Right now I’m in Los Angeles. Predictably drinking a green juice by the pool.

How did you decided to write a book?

My mom was a writer and published author, and I always looked up to her as a little girl. There’s also something so beautiful with books, because they really will last a lifetime. The subjects I chose to focus on; wellness, veganism and health also is an area where not a lot of designed coffee table books are made, and I felt like we needed one.

Did you do any promotional events traveling for it?

I did the celebratory book launch in LA at Chateau Marmont, and my next stop is Europe. I’m planning on doing something in Paris end of the summer, which is what I’m working on now. And then New York in the fall.

How do you combine your lifestyle and life philosophy with being on the road all the time?

When it comes to lifestyle it’s not as hard as you might think. All over the world are vegan options, you just have to learn how to find them and how to improvise when it comes to different cuisines. I tend to mediate and exercise pretty regularly when traveling, but I can admit it’s not as well scheduled to when I used to live in one place.

Life philosophy is easy: stay free! There’s nothing that makes me happier than being on the road. That’s when I feel the most alive. One day I know I want to settle down, so might as well make the most of it while I can.

Life goals?

One of them used to be publish a book - so I guess that’s done now. Other than that; Inspiring people, more than just the ones around me - on a bigger scale to change peoples view on life, environment, self worth and overall lifestyle is definitely up there.

We are making a family issue how do you feel about the idea of family?

Family is everything. My mom was my best friend, and the bond we had nothing will ever beat. Therefore: I’d love to have my own daughter, show her the world like my mom did to me - raise her the way I was raised, because I think I turned out quite alright.

Why Peaches?

Because Peaches is like no other book. It’s a modern twist on your traditional health book - and it will never bore you, full of daily missions, new friends along each page and a backbone story like no other ;)

And peaches are soft and sweet, but with a real though core. That’s Peaches for you!
